Dave DuBois

Dave DuBois

Dave DuBois has a B.S. in Geology from Duke University and an M.S. in Geology from the University of Delaware. He has been a research assistant in the Geology and Geophysics Department at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution since 1983. While at WHOI, he has sailed with the Ocean Bottom Seismology Group to places as far flung as the east coast of Greenland to the South East Indian Ridge south of Australia and from the East Pacific Rise to the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. He has collected many cruise T-shirts and five equator crossings. On this cruise to the Lost City, Dave will be performing a new role as SSSG (Shipboard Scientific Services Group) Tech assisting experienced SSSG Tech Dave Sims. In his down time Dave enjoys travel, stamp collecting, and the alternative world of country western social and competitive dancing.
