Marv Lilley

Marv Lilley is an Associate Professor in the School of Oceanography at the University of Washington. Marv has made over 50 Alvin dives and also has experience with the remotely operated vehicles Jason, ROPOS and Tiburon. The scientific focus of Marv’s lab group is the study of volatiles in hydrothermal systems. Four members of the group are participating in the cruise with Marv cheering from shore.
