Betsy Williams

Betsy Williams is a second-year graduate student at Duke University, studying structural geology and tectonics with Jeff Karson. After graduating from Haverford College with an English degree, Betsy spent several years in textbook publishing in New Jersey before deciding to go back to school. On this cruise, Betsy will focus on outcrop-scale structures of the mountain to understand how the Atlantis Massif formed.
